MCi is a regionally recognized leader in the development of transportation projects. We firmly believe in the use of state-of-the-art technologies to analyze infrastructure projects. These advanced technologies allow for reduced study times and increased variations in the analysis of alternatives. Examples of these technologies include the implementation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the development and analysis of alternatives and the use of analytical hierarchy computer software to aid in making decisions about alternatives.
We are very sensitive to the importance of public participation in the successful development of transportation projects. Through our participation in recent major transportation projects we have developed an expertise in the preparation and implementation of public involvement programs.
UTILITY ADJUSTMENT COORDINATION & DESIGN FOR ROADWAY PROJECTS
MCi has extensive experience in Utility Adjustment Coordination while working on roadway projects providing services including facilitating and conducting utility coordination meetings with individual utility companies, continuing communication and coordination with utilities throughout design and construction, and preparation of utility agreement assemblies which included utility agreements, joint use agreements, and advanced funding agreements.
Over the years, MCi has performed utility coordination and liaison activities with project involved utility owners, their consultants, Developer-Design/Builder and DOT’s (Department of Transportation) to achieve timely project notifications, formal coordination meetings, conflict analysis and resolution. MCi has had success in managing Utility Adjustment Coordination aspects required with numerous roadway projects while maintaining Owner and/or Design-Builder (Developer-Managed) project schedules. MCi has worked for the DOT’s or Utility Owner’s directly as well as served as the Utility Adjustment Lead for the Design-Builder.
